Chocolate Making
Making drinking chocolate like they have in spain?
How do you make it? I brought back two big bars fo chocolate for making the thick chocolate you can get in chocolaterias in Madrid, but I am not sure how to make it. How much milk, how much chocolate? How hot, cook for how long? Any other ingrediants I can add to make it better or more authentic?
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
2 oz sweet chocolate
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 beaten egg yolks
Directions:
Stir the milk with the chocolate and the cinnamon over low heat until the chocolate dissolves.
Add the eggs and beat the mixture until it becomes thick, taking care not to boil.
Serve in coffee mug.
