Chocolate Making Classes

How long does it take to make 30 chocolate chip cookies?
I have to make about 30 chocolate chip cookies for class how long does it to make them and also the dough and stuff like that i have made them before but i just wanna know how long about
Roughly, with prep, baking, and cleanup time — all told it’s about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs for me for a batch of about 30 cookies.
When you are mixing your cookie dough, don’t overmix. That makes tough cookies (serious). I cream the butter and sugar and do all the mixing by hand so it takes me about 30 minutes (includes clean-up of measuring equipment and bowls). I always transfer all prepared dough to one of my Rubbermaid bowls and scoop the dough out of that because a rubbermaid container is lighter, easier to handle than a stainless steel or glass mixing container plus the raw dough doesn’t stick to the rubbermaid and therefore, it makes scooping easier.
Get yourself a kitchen timer (to remind you when cookies have baked 6 minutes and it’s time to turn the pan or remove the pan and switch trays). . Very important. If you have an oven thermometer, that’s even better. You want your oven to keep a constant temp of about 375 (even if you have to lower the heat setting to get it).
I can only get 12 cookies on each tray. I use large jelly roll trays for baking cookies. You don’t want them too close because they will spread a little as they bake. Use an ice cream scoop (rounded at the top) full for each cookie. After filling a tray with 12 round scoops, I put my hand in a plastic bag (or small baggie) and press gently each of the the cookies to flatten a little into a cookie shape. If a cookie falls apart, you can gather it into a ball and gently press it down again. Make sure they are about the same thickness so the baking would be even for each cooky on that tray.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. and place a rack in the middle of the oven. Bake cookies 12 minutes total time: When cookies have been in oven 6 minutes, turn the sheet so the cookies that were in the front are now in the back of the oven. Bake another 6 minutes. Then the cookies should be done. I use a recipe with butter and shortening so leaving cookies in very much longer causes the cookies to become hard when cooled. And I don’t like hard choc chip cookies.
Let the baked cookies cool about 15 minutes (until they are set) before sliding a spatula under each to loosen them from the bottom. (If you try to loosen it too soon after removing the tray from the oven, they tend to fall apart.) After loosening the cookies, allow them to finish cooling.
I double the recipe to be able to get 30 medium sized cookies.
I fill all trays (I have 4 of them) with cookies as each tray bakes.
Only bake one tray each time to control the quality of the cookies. So you have to multiply the number of cookie trays by about 13 minutes to get total baking time. You also have to allow a few minutes to preheat (or better yet, turn your oven on when you are preparing your dough).
